The Qinous ESS 55/112 is part of the European R&D project ZeEUS. The public utility Stadtwerke Münster operate an e-bus line. The buses are charged with 500 kW for about 6min. at the end of the line. The project is evaluating if energy storage could be an alternative against grid-upgrading to MV in such applications. It is supervised by the university RWTH-Aachen
